With hazardous road conditions as a result of the latest winter storm it’s imperative that you call ahead to your infusion center to make sure they’re even open. Gov. Nikki Haley has declared a state of emergency as of today at 12:36 p.m. due to the snow, sleet and freezing rain. Up to 8 inches of snow is forecasted for some areas of the state and up to an inch of ice in others.

Call Ahead Before Traveling for Infusion ServicesFor those with an appointment to receive Spartanburg SC infusion services it’s best to call and reschedule your appointment. If it’s imperative that you receive your infusion we will discuss other options available to you.

The state of emergency called by the governor put the National Guard on active duty to support local state agencies. The National Guard can provide wrecker teams and four-wheel drive vehicles should they be necessary to respond to the storm. Haley issued a second executive order waiving weight limitations for trucks transporting emergency materials, equipment and supplies. But just because you may see large trucks on the highways doesn’t mean it’s safe for you to travel.

At Palmetto Infusion we offer high quality care at all of our infusion centers. Your comfort and safety is our number one concern. Rather than risk accident or injury, please visit one of our infusion center’s that may be out of the storm’s path.
