BIRMINGHAM, A.L. – AccuRX, a Palmetto Infusion Company, alongside Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce and Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato, celebrated the opening of a new AccuRX ambulatory infusion clinic in Hoover, Alabama, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Open House event on May 18, 2022.
This new clinic, located at 4000 Meadow Lake Dr. Suite 125, in the City of Hoover, is the newest AccuRX location in Alabama, along with Daphne, Dothan, and Huntsville. This location replaces the former AccuRX Infusion Center located at Valleydale Road.
The 4,975-square foot infusion clinic adds 19 additional chairs to accommodate the ever-increasing need for accessible ambulatory infusion services. These services are not only cost-effective for patients and payers but also are administered with the patients’ comfort and convenience in mind.
“The vision that we have as a company is to make a difference in people’s lives every day, and we’re doing that by restoring not only health but also hope,” said VP of Business Development David Bush. “We are so excited to continue serving the great people of the Birmingham and Hoover areas by offering this much larger and more comfortable space for acute and chronically ill patients.”
“The business itself, just looking at it, offers patients the opportunity to go somewhere different rather than an intimidating hospital system,” said Hoover Mayor Brocato. “They’re already feeling bad, so to come in here and deal with folks on a one-on-one basis and in a nice atmosphere is a great idea. We wish you all the best, and we’re here to support you in any way we can.”
Each clinic offers reclining chairs, warm blankets, complementary WiFi, snacks, and TVs. Patient services include exemplary clinical patient care, emotional consoling with Palmetto Infusion’s Patient Advocate, insurance coordination, financial assistance programs, treatment education, and 24/7 clinical support.
